Find the stage where patients you already paid for are leaking out.
Where your revenue appears to leak
Start with your spend and your inquiries, then work down the chain. Each stage you add shows how many patients it keeps, and collected revenue shows what the biggest leak is costing.

What the worst stage usually means
The stage with the steepest drop tends to point at a specific, fixable thing rather than a general marketing problem.
- Inquiry to booked
- Usually answering and follow-up rather than lead quality. Calls nobody picked up, forms sitting in a shared inbox, one callback attempt and no second.
- Booked to shows
- Usually the gap between booking and the appointment date, and what happens in it. A patient who booked three weeks ago has had three weeks to change their mind.
- Shows to treatment presented
- Usually the visit itself. The patient came in for one thing and the conversation about the treatment they actually need never happened, or happened without a plan attached.
- Presented to accepted
- Usually cost, and almost always cost that nobody followed up on. A patient who leaves to think about the money has not said no, but nobody calls them back to find out.
- Accepted to treatment starts
- The one that looks like success everywhere except the bank. The patient said yes, the start was scheduled weeks out, and it quietly never happened.
- Starts to collected revenue
- Not a conversion rate, so the calculator does not draw it as one. It is the line that turns a count of patients into what those patients were actually worth.
The full chain
This calculator covers the middle of it. The version RevSource Dental instruments runs the whole way, from the acquisition source through to the revenue that was actually collected.

What happens here
Someone searches for the treatment, finds a listing, or is referred by a patient you already have.
Where it leaks
Nothing records which of those it was, so every later number is unattributable.
